What this metric measures
A jump is counted only when the configured phase detector identifies a valid cycle boundary. Raw motion peaks and excluded cycles are not automatically treated as completed jumps.
How Trampoline Lab calculates it
Video pose, body-centre motion and optional sensor timing are used to find candidate cycles. Quality filters can exclude incomplete, implausibly short or long, low-confidence and statistical outlier cycles.
How to interpret it
Use jump count to understand training volume. Compare sessions only when the capture setup, filtering policy and model version are reasonably consistent.
Limits and responsible use
Missed bodies, occlusion, pauses, multiple athletes and incomplete start or end cycles can change the count.
