What this metric measures
The metric must state the reference event, aggregation rule and athlete set. Landing-to-landing, take-off-to-take-off and beat error are different quantities.
How Trampoline Lab calculates it
After stable tracking, the analyser selects a reference athlete or group event centre and calculates signed or absolute timing differences for eligible events.
How to interpret it
Smaller absolute differences indicate closer timing for the named event. The report should show the event type and avoid ranking athletes when evidence is incomplete.
Limits and responsible use
Different actions, missing events and identity uncertainty can make pairwise differences misleading.
