What this metric measures
Synchronisation confidence describes timing alignment between sources. It is separate from signal quality and must be stored with the offset and method used.
How Trampoline Lab calculates it
Supported workflows align timestamps through shared start events, device clocks or explicit calibration, then evaluate residual timing error and missing intervals.
How to interpret it
Low synchronisation confidence should reduce or suppress fusion metrics such as impact transmission and sensor-confirmed phase timing.
Limits and responsible use
Clock drift, wireless loss and unknown recording offsets can create apparently plausible but incorrect fusion.
